We help organisations shape the
IT systems that cannot afford to fail.

Systems where availability, performance and compliance aren’t footnotes in the spec — they’re the foundation.

What make us different

Whatever the role, we have the specialist

Business-critical projects tend to need more than one competence, often at the same time. We cover the full development lifecycle at senior level: developers, system architects, test managers, business analysts, rollout leads and deployment managers. When a project calls for a specific role, we have the right person for it.

We notice what the spec doesn’t say

Non-functional requirements rarely appear in full on the spec. A line like “the system must be GDPR-compliant” can account for a significant portion of the project budget if it is not identified and priced from the start. We work through these requirements systematically before they become unplanned costs.

Track records, not titles

Our consultants carry long, solid backgrounds in their fields. When we place a specialist, you get someone who has been in production environments, handled real constraints, and knows what the cost of getting it wrong looks like. We are selective about who represents us, and we stand behind every recommendation we make.

Insights from the field

Managing requirements as system properties
Standard requirements methods work well for functional requirements. Non-functional requirements such as performance, compliance and usability work better when treated as properties of the solution rather than tasks to decompose.

The refactoring safety net
Unit tests that know too much about implementation details become a burden during refactoring, not a safety net. Mattias Olofsson explains how black box testing keeps that net intact as the codebase changes.

Our approach to regulatory requirements
Breaking compliance requirements into sub-requirements leads to fragmented solutions and makes audits harder. IT informa developed a different approach: treat regulatory requirements as properties of the solution, tested across healthcare, finance and supply chains.
