Marcus is a senior developer with extensive experience in .NET and Azure, working across the full stack from backend logic and integrations to frontend development. He has delivered solutions in e-commerce, retail operations and enterprise system management, and has served as tech lead on projects where he has held full design and architecture responsibility.
Current focus
Marcus is currently working with a regional public transport authority in Stockholm, developing systems for metro operations management. His work includes adapting Microsoft Dynamics CRM to meet the organisation’s operational needs. He applies a spec-driven development approach, using AI agents collaboratively as part of his development workflow.

Background
As Tech Lead at a major international retailer, Marcus worked on a central repository for all software systems within the organisation’s digital ecosystem. The system served as a single source of truth supporting architecture, engineering and administrative tasks across the organisation. Marcus was responsible for developing its business APIs and background services in .NET with Azure Functions and Cosmos DB.
At a major Nordic retail chain, he simultaneously led the development of two interconnected systems: a new back-office solution for store operations and a master HQ system for monitoring and synchronising store data. He held full responsibility for design, architecture and iterative delivery throughout both projects.
He also served as tech lead on the pilot project for a mobile self-checkout solution at a retail beauty chain, enabling customers to scan and purchase products in store without using the traditional checkout. The solution was subsequently rolled out to additional stores.
