Competence areas
Background
Mattias has built his career at a global manufacturer of food processing and packaging solutions. His most significant early contribution was the design and development of a complete rewrite of the company’s production planning and monitoring system. He was responsible for the Java Swing client architecture, led a group of developers and contributed to both client and server development. The system was piloted in late 2004 and rolled out to more than 30 factories worldwide.
He has also served as Project Manager and developer on several extensions to the production system, including an initiative to add real-time two-way PLC communication across the global factory base and a project to customise and install the system in a new factory, covering new functionality, SAP R/3 integration and full rollout.
In a later assignment, Mattias designed and implemented ink tracing functionality for the packaging material production process, along with a server interface based on JAX-RS and JSON and an iOS application for scanning ink container barcodes and transferring data to the server.
