Background

Ulf held an extended engagement at Diaverum, a global healthcare company, working as project manager across several interconnected initiatives over three years. He led the development and global deployment of a new business-critical clinic system serving up to 400 clinics across 14 countries, covering patient management, treatments, scheduling, medications and billing, with integrations towards local labs and government systems. The engagement also included establishing a Service Management solution based on ITIL across 250 sites in 14 countries, and a supply chain programme built on Epicor 9.

At a global manufacturer of food processing and packaging solutions, Ulf served as project manager for a large programme developing and deploying a new business-critical production system to replace legacy installations at 25 factories worldwide. The project organisation consisted of around 50 people, and the new system supports production planning, control and production data export. The project was delivered on time and within budget, and included an internal change process covering infrastructure development and training of the application management organisation.

Over three and a half years, Ulf led a large .Net project developing a new generation HRM system for several sectors, including healthcare. The project followed an iterative and incremental approach with continuous deliveries to end customers in production, and the organisation spanned around 60 people across three development centres. His responsibilities as overall project manager covered the full delivery lifecycle and management of a broad set of internal and external stakeholders.
